The service will be led by members of the parish  and the bulletin will be presented through Zoom so all may participate. \nNoonday Prayer is a short and simple service which allows prayer to enter into the midst of our daily work or other activities\, while joining our prayers in the ongoing prayer of the Church around the world. It may also be observed in private and is found online here  and on p.103-107 in The Book of Common Prayer (BCP) or in the simplified version daily devotions on page 138. \n\nLearn more about praying this service and all the services of the Daily Office in our series of online lessons called PrayingTogether.

Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19)\, your Vestry has decided that the official Parish’s Annual Meeting held on the  Monday after Easter be held this year by Zoom .   George\, as chair\, would convene the meeting from the church beginning at 12:00 noon. Normally\, we would convene on the front steps of the Church for the election and investiture of the Vestry as we have for 270 years. However\, Easter Monday is within the time that the Church facilities are closed to group gatherings.  While the number of persons able to attend at one time via Zoom is somewhat limited\, we believe that this method will allow us to convene as a body. Should you wish to participate or to nominate from the floor\, please contact the current Senior Warden\, Billy Badger .   As a reminder\, the slate this year is: Laura Robertson\, Laurie Montgomery\, Matt Gullette and Ashley Wright as Senior Warden.\n\n  \nAnnual Meeting Bulletin

DESCRIPTION:Friday\, April 10\nGood Friday\, Noon\, Facebook Live\n\nOn Good Friday we observe the Passion of Jesus Christ: recalling Jesus’ arrest\, torture\, and crucifixion.   The service begins and ends in silence. The Passion Gospel and Solemn Collects are read. We do not celebrate the Holy Eucharist.  Although it is a day of great solemnity\, devotion\, self-examination\, and prayer\, it is also a day of restrained anticipation\, promise and hope.\nCollect for Good Friday\nAlmighty God\, we pray you graciously to behold this your family\, for whom our Lord Jesus Christ was willing to be betrayed\, and given into the hands of sinners\, and to suffer death upon the cross; who now lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit\, one God\, for ever and ever. Amen. \nGood Friday Offering  \nGood Friday\, offerings are invited from across The Episcopal Church to support the four dioceses of the Province of Jerusalem and the Middle East. These offerings are used to promote peace and mutual understanding through pastoral care\, health care\, and educational programs throughout the region. The generous donations of Episcopalians help the Christian presence in the Land of the Holy One to be a vital and effective force for peace and understanding among all of God’s children. DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, April 9\nMaundy Thursday\, 7 p.m.\, Facebook Live \nBulletin for Maundy Thursday 2020 \n  \nThe tradition of an evening celebration of the Eucharist on this day began in the early fifth century . “Maundy” comes from the Latin word “mandatum” (“commandment”)\, referring both to Christ’s words “a new commandment I give you\, that you love one another as I have loved you” and to Christ’s command to celebrate the Eucharist. In this service we remember the Passover and the institution of the Holy Eucharist. \nThe Maundy Thursday service does not end here.  At the end of the service\, we begin the transition to Good Friday.  The Maundy Thursday Liturgy concludes with the stripping of the altar by the clergy and the singing of Psalm 22\, the lights are dimmed\, and the cross is veiled in black as we kneel and then depart in silence. \nThe Collect for Maundy Thursday\nAlmighty Father\, whose dear Son\, on the night before he suffered\, instituted the Sacrament of his Body and Blood: Mercifully grant that we may receive it thankfully in remembrance of Jesus Christ our Lord\, who in these holy mysteries gives us a pledge of eternal life; and who now lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit\, one God\, for ever and ever. Amen. \n

DESCRIPTION:Holy Eucharist Rite II \nAt 11:00 a.m. we celebrate a traditional Holy Eucharist (Communion) with both the Saint Paul’s Choir and Canterbury Choir.  Our service follows an established pattern of prayers\, scripture readings\, and hymns\, which we call our “liturgy.” All who come in faith are welcome at the Communion table.\n\nEach Sunday our worship will be broadcast RADIO FM 95.1 or AM 580 or live radio here and live streamed on our Facebook page. \nBulletins are posted here. \nWatch recordings on our Youtube page and here.
