Outreach
“Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?
When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?”
“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
– Matthew 25:37-38,40
Welcome! At Saint Paul’s, we believe that everything we are and everything we have is a gift from God–our talents, time, and treasure. If you would like to share the gifts God has given you, join us as we serve our brothers and sisters in His name.
Our Mission Statement: “…seek and serve Christ in all persons, loving your neighbor as yourself.”
Saint Paul’s strives to respond to human needs in our community, the diocese, and the world.
We partner through our volunteer efforts and financial support with other organizations at home and abroad, including Downtown Cooperative Church Ministry, Compass for Hope, Master’s Table Soup Kitchen, Angel Tree Ministry, Ironman 70.3, Golden Harvest Food Bank, Our Little Roses Orphanage (Honduras), Heifer International and more. New partnerships are formed as needs arise that we can help meet.
We support clothing and school supply drives, disaster relief, and organizations serving children and seniors, and Sunday afternoon Ice Cream Parties at the Georgia War Veterans’ Nursing.
To help fund these ministries, the Outreach Committee holds an annual Mardi Gras Auction, Dinner, and Dance in the River Room.
Check our Weekly Postings Newsletter for dates and times of service opportunities. Some are year-round; others are seasonal. Check often to see how you may get involved.
We invite you join us as often as you are able.
If you’d like to learn more or join us on a regular basis, we invite you to attend an Outreach meeting at 5:30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of every other month (odd numbered months) in Tyler Hall.
