Saint Paul’s Formation for Youth (6th-12th Grade)

The goal of the youth program at Saint Paul’s is to ensure each young person feels welcome, safe and nurtured as they associate the church environment with love and service to others, exploring their relationship with God.

We are committed to supporting their spiritual development and providing opportunities for them to live into their desire to make a difference in the world knowing God’s love.

We will achieve this through coordinated programming of Sunday morning formation, Episcopal Youth Community (EYC on Sunday nights), retreats and social gatherings.

Volunteers: We need volunteers to ensure our youth are supported. Our youth parents are asked to volunteer 1-2 Sundays per semester to help chaperone a Sunday night activity. You can lead the activity or simply be present for the fun. We encourage youth to bring friends as all are welcome.

Discovering faith, step by step, children will reflect on the Episcopal tradition of being on a journey of faith; inviting students into identity and purpose.

Episcopal Youth Formation
9th-12th Grade
Sunday Mornings 10:00-10:45 AM
The St. James Room

The Episcopal Youth Formation is focused on faith and practice responding to God’s call to love one another. We will structure conversation to explore their faith, ask questions and be in community with one another.

Confirmation Class

If you’re a high schooler and considering confirmation, let us know. Confirmation is the sacrament marking a young person’s public affirmation of their baptismal faith and commitment to living as a Christian. Confirmation class will begin January 2027. If you are interested in being confirmed, please contact Aubrey Hinkson to prepare for The Rite of Confirmation.

EYC (Episcopal Youth Community)

6th-12th Grade
Two Sundays/Month, 5-7 PM

Our youth will gather for food, fellowship and fun. We encourage youth to bring a friend or two. Throughout the year we have various outings and events for our youth to engage with the church and one another.

Our EYC gatherings will focus this year on service and fellowship. As we meet twice a month, one Sunday we will host a fun activity and the following meeting will be focused on serving in our community. See a tentative schedule below. Please ensure you are signed up for weekly emails and part of the group text thread by contacting Aubrey.
