Dear People of Saint Paul’s,

We begin this stewardship season in gratitude for the gifts of the people of this parish – gifts given in faithful hope and expectation for the work that the Holy Spirit is doing here.

This campaign is not about what we need, but about what we need to be. Our progress in fulfilling our priorities is a reflection of our commitment to deepen our ties to our neighborhood, to extend pastoral care to those who have so faithfully been a part of this work in the past, and to continue to foster the spiritual growth of a new generation at Saint Paul’s through our children’s and youth ministries.

This spring the Vestry spent time in prayerful reflection about our faith and our money in the context of our spiritual lives. Out of that work came a shared theology of stewardship.

All that we are, and all that we have comes from God.
In gratitude we honor God by giving of ourselves and our gifts to care for His world.

As we continue this work, we are inviting you to a deeper level of giving and engagement as a reflection of your gratitude for the gifts you have been given. We are asking you to prayerfully consider an increase over last year. If pledging has not been your practice, we encourage you to join this year’s campaign. It’s really not the amount on the card, but the commitment you make by filling it out. It helps the budgeting process and allows the Vestry and Finance committees to more accurately plan our work as we move forward.

Walk in love with us as we seek to fulfill our Baptismal vows and continue a centuries long legacy of faithful giving at Saint Paul’s.
